The Luxembourg Garden is home to a unique series of statues of French queens and illustrious women. Anne of Brittany, Queen Margot, Sainte Geneviève, Marie Stuart and many more can be seen here.

There is also the famous Médicis fountain, commissioned by Queen Marie de Médicis, widow of King Henri IV of France, and whose full-length statue can also be seen in the Garden.
