What is prohibited in the Garden
- Walking on the lawns, picking the plants
- Taking professional photos/videos without permission
- Walking with your pet (except for dogs on a leash in the designated South-East area)
- Cycling, scooters ...
Access to the Garden
Access by public transport
To reach the Garden by public transport, several options are available:
- Metro: Odéon station (lines 4 and 10), Mabillon station (line 10) and Saint-Germain-des-Prés station (line 4)
- RER line B: Luxembourg-Sénat station
- Bus: 21, 27, 38, 58, 82, 83, 84, 85, 89.
Additionally, numerous spaces are provided around the park for parking bicycles and scooters.
Services
Available facilities include:
- a garden wardens’ post in the event of any issues
- a "dog zone" between the Gay-Lussac and Observatoire gates (marked in red on the map). In this area (excluding lawns and flowerbeds), dogs on a leash are permitted, and assistance dogs without a leash but equipped with a vest are allowed. Outside this zone, dogs are strictly prohibited.

Recycling in the Garden
Selective sorting bins ("abribacs") are provided at the main entrances of the Garden for your convenience. Please make use of them.
Toilet Facilities
Chalets with free public toilets are available in the Luxembourg Garden.
